You can also do these things from the Lock Screen: Tap a single notification to open the app that it's from.
Tap a group of notifications to view all recent notifications from that app. Swipe left over a notification to manage alerts for that app, or clear the notification. Open from Notification Centre Notification Centre shows your notifications history, allowing you to scroll back and see what you've missed.
There are two ways to see your alerts from the Notification Centre: From the Lock Screen, swipe up from the middle of the screen. From any other screen, swipe down from the centre of the top of your screen. Schedule a notification summary With iOS 15 and iPadOS 15, you can schedule times to receive a summary of notifications each day so you can catch up when it's convenient for you.
You can turn app notifications on or off, have notifications play a sound, choose how and where you want app notifications to appear when your device is unlocked, and more. Select the apps you want notifications for in your summary, set a time for delivery of your summary, then tap at the top left. See schedule a notifications summary. To choose when you want most notification previews to appear, tap Show Previews, select an option—Always, When Unlocked, or Never—then tap at the top left.
Previews can include things like text from Messages and Mail and invitation details from Calendar. You can override this setting for individual apps. If you turn on Allow Notifications, choose when you want the notifications delivered—immediately or in the scheduled notifications summary—and turn Time Sensitive Notifications on or off.
You can also customize the vibration of the sound by scrolling to the top of Ringtones and clicking on the "Vibration" tab. Badge App Icon-- Badges are little numbers you see in the corner of an icon. Show on Lock Screen-- This setting modifies whether or not you see an alert, or the first line of a message, while your phone is locked. Alert Style When Unlocked-- In this section, you will see three types of alert styles that will appear when your iPhone is unlocked.
The first option is labeled "none". This means you will not receive any type of alert other than a sound alert if you choose Please see sounds to change settings. Your second choice is labeled "banners". By selecting this preference, you will see a banner appear at the top of the screen and go away automatically. Banners alert you when there is a new message.
Lastly, the third style is "alerts". Choosing "alerts" for your notification settings requires action before the alert goes away, and will pop-up in the middle of your iPhone's screen. Use the Time Sensitive interruption level only for notifications that are relevant in the moment. Going forward, the system periodically gives people additional opportunities to evaluate how your Time Sensitive notification is working for them. Never use the Time Sensitive interruption level to send a marketing notification.
People may have agreed to receive marketing notifications from your app, but such a notification should never break through a Focus or scheduled delivery setting.
Create a short title if it provides context for the notification content. The prominence of the notification title area makes it a great place to provide useful information. For example, a noncommunication notification might display a headline, event name, or email subject. If you can only provide a generic title, like New Document, it can be better to let the system display your app name instead.
Write succinct, easy-to-read notification content. Avoid telling people to open your app, navigate to specific screens, tap specific buttons, or perform other tasks that are hard to remember after the notification disappears. People attend to notifications at their convenience. If you send multiple notifications for the same thing, you fill up Notification Center, and people may turn off all notifications from your app. Provide generically descriptive text to display when notification previews are hidden.
In Settings, people can choose to hide notification previews for all apps.
