What happens if you kill wynne

Salves are actually ridiculously strong. I didn't take advantage of them in my first 2 plays and felt like a fool when so started doing so afterwards.

Also worth noting that the AI tends to cast fireball at someone instead of the floor near the party. You can guess who the target is if you're paying attention to them when they start casting and get that person clear of everyone else. Covoid View Profile View Posts. Originally posted by tamoni4 :. Currently my main character is a poorly thought out mage lol.

She can do some crowd control, inflict heavy harm, or do minor healing. Tactics matter. Firestorm or whatever it's called is great for bottle necking. Set your group to stay still, move mage ahead and light up bottle neck with a heavy AOE spell. Engage enemies, run back to your group and attack as enemies run through. If you position yourself well, the enemies hover in the AOE area for a bit before moving out of it and tend to lose like half their health if not die altogether.

This is just one tactic to take large groups down quick. Defensive and Ranged is usually best I like to use Alistair as a tank. Prefer my rogue to be an archer and usually use Leliana. I find Sten can put out a bit too much DPS and often steals attention from the tank. Not a big deal til the idiot dies lol. Juggernaut armor is a good pick for him, while Cailan's is great for Alistair Potions matter. You can get unlimited elfroot at the brecilian outskirts.

Lyrium dust at the Circle of Mages Distillation fluid at base camp, as well as phials. You can literally BUY all the crap you need in unlimited quantities to make potions. I save my gold for buying rare items, gifts, and making potions. Gear is better off found. I just made like potions of various strengths and functions to take down into the deeproads.

If you make enough lyrium potions, you essentially have an unlimited mana pool and a mage goes from glass cannon to nuclear arsenal lol Same with warriors, have like 3 different types of potions hotbarred and when they really need a good heal, hit all three from highest to lowest, then maybe throw a heal spell on top.

Properly spec'd and equipped, this group can take down enemies FAST. A single mistake will lead to near-immediate collapse, though. Always have plenty of healing potions to hand. My team is:Rouge dual weild, Zevran, Alistar and dog.

Zevran is actually a heavy hitter compared to Alistar. Dog is really useful with their stun howl and tackle. Unfortunately, the only way NOT to take her with is to kill her.

So you must suffer her incompetance and incessant preachieness unless you kill her. There is a way, if you are on the PC to get rid of her at least in the Fade sequence. Apparently, after the events of DA2, Wynne still lives and is apparently playing an active part in the war against the rogue Templars. Well, the problem with that is, Wynne is dead in my game. The Warden will eventually locate the urn in the ruins near a town called Haven.

The Warden can accept the offer, but choose not to poison the urn, resulting in a fight with Kolgrim on the mountaintop. The Warden then takes a pinch of the ashes and uses it to cure Arl Eamon. Answered How do I keep Wynne? Answered What did I do to offend Wynne?
