Makes me think she just sort of goes wandering sometimes, since I had seen her in fort dawnguard just before and had not asked her to come with me. Im glitching out guys and I need help. I have Argis from markarth following me and went to castle volkihar balcony and I found Serana there and she started to follow me automatically.
Now I have two followers. I can normally give her stuff and take back. I couldn't find her earlier and when I did in dawnguard fort I was not able to get her follow me either after I finished dawnguard questline.
Is it even possible got her her as a follower then or do you just randomly find her and then she starts to follow you? If you aren't doing that mission, she will either be at the vampire castle or at Fort Dawnguard, depending on which faction you chose to help; sometimes she will mistakenly say the glade line after you complete that mission, but she will still return to the base.

Learn more. Serana's location for follower recruiting after Dawnguard quest. Ask Question. Asked 9 years, 2 months ago. Active 6 years, 10 months ago. Viewed 78k times. Once you consider all the factors in the situation, it's easy to see Serana's side of the story and understand why she is upset with both her mother and father. It's easy to miss that Serana holds resentment towards her mother since it is only briefly mentioned in dialogue during the DLC.
Most companions in Skyrim don't have very much unique dialogue; however, this is one way that Serana is entirely unique. Serana has interesting dialogue relating to her being a vampire, and she also makes many other comments while the two of you are exploring Skyrim.
Serana will respond if you are in a scenic location or if you are outside while the sun is shining, among many other situations.
Serana was born in the Second Era, which means that she is from hundreds of years prior to the events of Skyrim. You might already be aware that Serana is from a different time period; however, it's unclear to many fans exactly which era she's actually from.
Since Serana was born in the Second Era, her perception of the world is very different from other characters, even in ways that aren't necessarily noticeable during dialogue with her. Molag Bal granted this nickname because Coldharbour is his Daedric realm.
You will hear this nickname if you research into the backstory of the Volkihar vampire clan. If you side with the Dawnguard while playing through the DLC, then you will experience Isran and other vampire hunters talking down to Serana and acting as if she is a creature rather than a person. After finishing the DLC and defeating Harkon, Isran and other Dawnguard members will change their tune and start acting nicer towards Serana since it seems that she has proved her worth to them.
Most of this dialogue is easy to miss because it occurs very briefly and only if you side with the Dawnguard. After meeting with you for the first time, Serana is skeptical of you and your intentions. Didn't mean to bring up a bad memory. We're very close. I can't wait to see them again. We didn't really get along. Best that I haven't seen them in a while. Do you know how they're doing now?
I see. I never knew them. I grew up alone. I mean I know it isn't the same thing. But I was a pretty lonely child, myself. I don't know what she was thinking. She always seemed happy, before we heard the prophecy. Then it all changed. She became a different person. They both did. It sounds like she was pretty selfish. But I think you're right. She was practically smirking as we left home. Almost like she was proud of herself. Like she didn't want to just stop my father I don't see another way.
I'll become a vampire. I'm willing to turn you, but you need to think it through. You'd become the very thing you've sworn to destroy. I don't know how the Dawnguard will react. Let me think about it. Take your time. It's intimate. For us. I don't want you to feel like I'm forcing you into this. Hold still. Soul trap me. I won't feel right as a vampire. I'm willing to do it, but you need to think it through. You'll remain mortal, but you'll find yourself weakened within the Soul Cairn.
I hope you trust me. I'd never do anything that could hurt you. Let's not waste any more time then. I kind of figured we were heading for this some day. I just didn't know when. I've been assuming that's where all this is going. I've been trying to make my peace with it. I don't like him any more than you do. But he is my father. I'm getting there. Making my peace with it. Come on. We can talk about this another time. Oh, wow. All right, well, what do you think my father's going to do once we bring the bow to him?
